Tourism Commission considering partnering with DBP, Helena to promote tourism

Posted: Thursday, November 10, 2011 8:44 am

The Coahoma County Tourism Commission is considering working with the Delta Bridge Project alongside the Helena Tourism Commission to promote tourism.

“They (DBP) would like (for us) to explore a working arrangement with Helena for them to sell some of our spots and us to sell some of their spots,” Tourism Commission president Wayne Winter explained. “And one of the things that we can do as part of our advertising is to say we want you to come spend a couple of days in Clarkdale. Here are some of the other things you can do on day trips close by. Some of the things in Helena, and some of the things … within the area. And the people would have to choose whether they want to go to any of those things.”
