About Us

The Clarksdale Press Register has been serving Clarksdale and Coahoma County since 1865. Although many things have changed over the years, our mission remains the same – to provide the highest-quality local news coverage and the most effective advertising options for businesses in our area.

The Press Register is published each Wednesday. More than 7,750 readers rely on us as their news source.

In addition to the newspaper, The Press Register produces the Profile each year, which features a perfect mix of compelling feature stories, stellar photography, music, arts, food and much more. We also produce three issues of Coahoma Living magazine each year that highlights the life and style of the Delta with feature stories and photographs about its people and places. Other popular special sections are the high school football preview each fall, the Women in Business in October and our Graduation section each May.

Our award-winning staff takes pride in producing a strong community newspaper. Whether it’s covering local government, high school sports or human interest stories, The Clarksdale Press Register is committed to providing the best news coverage for Clarksdale and Coahoma County and delivering the best value for businesses seeking to promote their products in our coverage area.
