The Clarksdale Police Department is investigating shots fired into an occupied car about 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Police reports indicate officers responded to the 900 block of Sasse Street in Southeast Clarksdale and spoke to Jordan Briston.
Briston told officers he was driving on Sasse Street when a silver Lexus pulled up next to him and fired several time into his vehicle. Briston told police there were two people in the vehicle but no other details were given in the report.
The case was assigned to Investigator G. Johnson.
