Jericho Ministry needs your support

By SPECIAL TO THE PRESS REGISTER,

Dear Editor,

In an effort to continue the Jericho Ministry, the Jericho steering committee is planning an ecumenical worship service on Sunday, March 29, at 11 a.m. at the Clarksdale Civic Auditorium

You can help make this endeavor a big success with your presence and participation.

We are asking that all churches across the City of Clarksdale come to this one location for worship on that Sunday, to build a strong, healthy faith community.

As we come together, we are also asking that your choir members, praise dancers, and musicians, together under the leadership of Terry Carr (662) 428-4735 and Katara Tyler (662) 902-5458, provide music, songs, and dance for this worship service.

To reach out to the less fortunate in our community, a benevolent offering will be taken up during the service to respond to the needs of the homeless in our community.

Individuals will be contacted for program participation.

Please make every effort to make this worship service one to remember and continue to celebrate for

years to come. For more information, please do not hesitate to contact the committee members listed in this letter.

Thank you for your cooperation and participation.

Yours in service,

Josephine P. Rhymes,
