Earlene Davis Sims, 86, a retired bookkeeper Corso Distribution, died Monday, May 13, 2019 at North Delta Hospice and Palliative Service in Southaven. Visitation is 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Lyon Baptist Church in Lyon.

Nancy Marie Hood Neely, 67, a retired Teacher of Coahoma County and Lee Academy, died May 9, 2019 at her home in Olive Branch.

Visitation is 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Church of Christ in Clarksdale. Funeral services are noon Saturday at Church of Christ in Clarksdale with burial in the Oakridge Cemetery.

Roberta Smith DeFord, 97, passed away Monday, May 7 in Starkville. She was a longtime resident of Duncan and had moved to Starkville 3 years ago. She was a member of Duncan Baptist Church.

Annie M. Parnell, 84, of Clarksdale, MS died Monday, May 6, 2019 at Greenbough Nursing Center in Clarksdale.

A public viewing will be held Friday, May 10, 2019, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Delta Burial Funeral Home on 615 South State St. in Clarksdale.




Robert Partee

Robert Partee, 74, died Monday April 29, 2019, at Greenbough Nursing Home in Clarksdale. He was born on July 11, 1945 in Batesville.

A funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Dennis Chapel on Madison Avenue in Clarksdale. Burial is at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. The Rev. Freddie Deshazer will officiate.
