A Sunday afternoon car accident in Tunica County has killed young men and is being investigated by the Tunica County Sheriff's Department.
The accident occurred shortly after 1 p.m., May 16, at the intersection of Highway 304 and Kirby Road in Robinsonville and the crash was immediately reported to Tunica County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responding to the motor vehicle accident found two vehicles involved in the accident and several with serious injuries.
Those who died as a result of the accident have been identified as Markivise Judd, 21, of Robinsonville and Antwan Moore Jr., 17, also of Robinsonville.
"The accident left two individuals deceased and another individual injured," said the Tunica County Sheriff's Department in a press release. Tunica County Sheriff’s Office mourns the passing of two young men, taken from this life too soon. Our prayers go out to the family and friends of the victims, as the two gentlemen were brothers."
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Tunica County Sheriff’s Office.
