Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Leroy Smith, junior of Clarksdale announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Sawyer Alexis Smith, to Mr. Coleby Logan Hutchinson.
Mr. Hutchinson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lewis Hutchinson, junior of Boyle, Mississippi.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Leroy Smith and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Fincher Quinn, all of Clarksdale, Mississippi.
The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Glenn Williams of Ruleville, and Mrs. Charles Lewis Hutchinson and the late Mr. Hutchinson of Cleveland, Mississippi.
Sawyer is a graduate of Lee Academy in Clarksdale. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the Robert E. Smith School of Nursing at Delta State University in Cleveland.
Sawyer is currently employed as a procedural nurse at Fusion Vascular in Cleveland.
Cole is a graduate of Bayou Academy in Cleveland. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Miss-issippi State University in Starkville.
Cole is currently employed as an electrical engineer at Entergy in Cleveland.
The couple will exchange vows on November 6, 2021, in the sanctuary of Clarksdale United Methodist Church in Clarksdale.
