The Clarksdale Police Department has reported three residential burglaries over the weekend and is reminding residents to call them if they see suspicious people in their neighborhood.
Burglaries and crimes of opportunity usually rise during the Christmas season as crooks look for gifts and items to steal to turn into cash.
Police are asking you call 911 immediately if you see someone you don’t know in a yard or entering a home, especially if they are in an alley or back yard and don’t belong there. Barking dogs at night are another good reason to call police.
Clarksdale Police are glad to respond to your calls for help.
