The following felony crime reports were released by the Clarksdale Police Department Assistant Chief Vincent Ramirez, April 8 through 15, 2020.

Shooting into dwelling
On Monday, April 13, at 9:26 p.m., officers responded to the area of the 700 block of Magnolia Street in reference to a shooting into a dwelling.
Police attempted to make contact with the homeowner, but no one answered the door.
Officers checked the area and found several shell casings. Investigators were called and collected the casings found at the scene.
Aggravated Assault
On Saturday, April 11, at 12:17 a.m. officers responded to the area of the 300 block of Madison Street in reference to an aggravated assault.
Police spoke with Enrique Herrara, who said he was getting out of his vehicle and someone walked up from the alley and opened fire on him. Herrara said he did not know the person and no description was given by police.
Herrara was struck in the arm but his injuries were not life-threatening.
Several shell casings were recovered in the alley.
