COVID-19 will curtail Halloween in Clarksdale

The COVID pandemic is still altering Halloween plans, but local entities are adjusting to make sure some activities take place.
Clarksdale Public Utilities has once again decided to forego it massive candy give-away and Coahoma County Youth Opportunity will host a limited Trunk-or-Treat on Halloween Sunday, Oct. 31.

CROSSTOWN RIVALRY: Clarksdale tops Coahoma County

The crosstown rivalry football game between Clarksdale and Coahoma County high schools went just an hour and four minutes as the mercy rule was in effect the whole time.
Clarksdale (7-2, 3-0) still managed to easily win on the road at Coahoma County 43-6 Thursday night.

Colts finish season with loss to North Delta

It was not the football season the Lee Academy Colts hoped for, but that did not stop them from fighting right down to the very last game.
The Colts, 1-9 and 0-4 in district, fell to district opponent North Delta at home in the season finale Friday 14-0.

CCC offers financial aid app to students
