A street in the Brickyard has once again been the location where someone has shot into houses.
Clarksdale Police were called to the 900 block of Vincent Street in reference to shooting into a dwelling.
"Homeowner reported hearing numerous gunshots, when they investigated, they found that the resident had been struck numerous times," police said in a press release Monday. "No injuries were reported."
Police did not give the time of the incident.

Shooting into homes in the 900 Block of Vincent Street were also reported in June 2021 and December 2020.
Shooting into homes is a regular occurance in Clarksdale and a crime police are seeking to stamp out.
A person who shoots a firearm of any nature or description into any house or any other building usually occupied by people, whether they are at home or not, is guilty of a felony whether or not anybody is injured.
Upon conviction they will be punished by imprisonment in the state penitentiary for a term not to exceed ten years, or by imprisonment in the county jail, fined up to $5,000, forced to pay restitution for damages, all within the discretion of the court.

This weekend's shooting into a house on Vincent Street was the tenth gun-related crime reported to police from Thursday night Oct. 19 to Monday morning, Oct. 23.
