The City of Clarksdale is proud to partner with Extra Table’s March of the Mayors, an annual statewide initiative dedicated to fighting hunger across Mississippi communities. Each participating city is assigned a specific food item to collect at designated drop-off locations. On Monday, those donated items were carefully boxed and shipped to communities throughout the region, including right here in Clarksdale. Mayor Orlando W. Paden, Clarksdale Police Chief Vincent Ramirez, and members of the Clarksdale community traveled to Cleveland, Mississippi early this morning to assist with packing and distributing food boxes.
