A woman has been charged with embezzlement from the C-Spire office in Clarksdale.
On Saturday, Dec. 15 at 8 a.m., Clarksdale Police responded to the C-Spire office located at 1005 S. State St., Suite B, regarding an armed robbery.
Employee Tomeka Redix was later charged with embezzlement after an extensive investigation by CPD investigator Titus Hawkins Sr., said a press release from the police department.
Redix was transported to the Coahoma County Jail. She was arraigned on Tuesday, Dec. 18 in Clarksdale Municipal Court where Judge Derek Hopson set her bond at $10,000.
The case will be presented to the next session of the Coahoma County grand jury.
