Frances Louise "Weesie" Carson, 84, an Avon representative from Sumner, died June 10, 2019 at Cleveland Nursing and Rehabilitation. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2019 at Sumner Baptist Church in Sumner with burial in the Missions Cemetery in Winona. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale is handling the arrangements.
She retired as the local Avon representative in Sumner for over 30 years. She was a member of Crowder Baptist Church.
Survivors include nephews Melvin Little, Jr. and Bobby Fields, Jr.; nieces Amanda Fields Cox, Vonda (Tony) Womble, Cassondra (Allen) Raney and Dalynda (Jamie) Gaston; great nephews Jeremy Earnest, Brandon Little, Tad Little, Jonathan Hill and Ben Womble and eight great nieces Lauren Long, Courtney Casey, Priscilla Cook, Paige Womble, Anne Rutland Jordan, Kristen Fields, Jordan Thweatt and Anna Carson Edwards.
She was preceded in death by her parents Talmadge DeWitt Carson and Robbie Lea Parker Carson; brother Carlos Carson and sisters Bertha Lea Little and Evelyn C. Fields.
