Martha Lou Fox Farris, 88, a homemaker from Clarksdale, died Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at home. Visitation is 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarksdale. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarksdale with burial in the Oakridge Cemetery. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale is handling the arrangements.
She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
Survivors include sons Davey Lee Farris, Jr. (Gussie), Greg Farris; daughter Andrea Farris all of Clarksdale; six grandchildren Haley Farris, Davey Farris, III, Erin Dickey, Jake Farris, Elizabeth Grace Fyfe, Brooks Fyfe and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Davey Lee Farris, Sr.; parents Lora Cobb Fox and Henry Leon Fox.
