Mary Wheasler Meredith, 95, a homemaker from Lyon, died Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Visitation is 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2019 at Lyon Methodist Church in Lyon. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2019 at Lyon Methodist Church in Lyon with burial in the Oakridge Cemetery. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale is handling the arrangements.
Survivors include: her son Billy (Janie) Meredith of Lyon, MS; daughter Kathy (Hal) Coleman of Schlater, MS; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ottis Meredith; parents Grant and Emma White Wheasler; son Ronny Meredith; brothers Bill Wheasler and Gib Wheasler.
