Robert L. Fells, 81, peacefully passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019 in Nashville, Tenn. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Pearlie Cummings Fells, and their children, Demetrius Fells and Antoinette Morgan, and was predeceased by his mother, Mary Hicks Sharp. Robert worked for 30 years with Continental Baking Company (Wonder Bread) as the first black Sales Supervisor. Visitation will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2019 at Century Funeral Home at 506 Ashton Ave. in Clarksdale. Funeral services will be held at Silent Grove M.B. Church, 337 Jefferson Ave. in Clarksdale at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2019.
