Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Eric Peacock of Brandon announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Elizabeth Peacock, to Joshua Davis Fowler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Van Robert Fowler of Clarksdale.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. James Harold Peacock and the late Mr. Peacock of Dayton, Ohio, and Mr. Hubert Morris Currie of Clinton and the late Mrs. Betty Doremus Currie of Jackson.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. Charles Harry Fowler, Sr. and the late Mrs. Fowler and Mr. and Mrs. George Patrick Davis, Sr., all of Clarksdale.
Miss Peacock is a 2011 graduate of Northwest Rankin High School. She is a 2015 cum laude graduate of Mississippi State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in clinical exercise physiology. At Mississippi State, she was a member of Chi Omega sorority, where she served as Panhellenic delegate.
Miss Peacock is an occupational therapy assistant at Manhattan Nursing and Rehab in Jackson.
Mr. Fowler is a 2009 graduate of Lee Academy. He graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi State University in 2013 with a bachelor of science degree in biology and was involved in Montgomery Leadership program. He will graduate from the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s School of Medicine in May and will continue his residency in internal medicine at the University of Tennessee at Memphis.
The couple will exchange vows Saturday, May 4, 2019, at St. Richard Catholic Church in Jackson with a reception to follow at the Old Capitol Inn in Jackson.
