The Coahoma Early College High School boys and girls picked up two division wins at home during the past week to remain in second place in their division.
The Tigers (18-5, 6-2) defeated Madison Palmer High School from Marks, 66-38, on Tuesday, Jan. 29.
Thomas Williams Jr. had 14 points, eight rebounds, six assists, seven steals and two blocks for the Tigers.
The Tigers also defeated Holly Springs, 56-54, on Friday night, Jan. 25.
Williams Jr. had 18 points followed by Trey Payno with 13.
The Lady Tigers (11-9, 5-3) defeated Holly Springs, 47-41, on Friday night and went on to defeat Madison Palmer, 68-38, on Tuesday.
Aaliyah Davis led the Lady Tigers against Madison Palmer with 28 points, five rebounds and five steals.
CECHS has five regular-season games remaining prior to the district tournament.
Water Valley comes to town on Friday for a division game, while Ray Brooks visits for a non-division game on Tuesday. They travel to non-divisional foe Clarksdale on Feb. 7 and host North Side in a non-division game Feb. 8. The district tourney is at Water Valley and tips off Feb. 11.
