The Lee Academy boys and girls remained winless in district play with losses to North Delta on Tuesday night.
The Colts (6-8, 0-4) came up just short with a 63-60 loss.
Phillip Brownlee and Brett Wilson scored 14 points each followed by Seth Campbell with 13.
The Fillies (7-7, 0-4) lost 63-33.
Anna Byrd led the way with 12 points.
The junior high Colts (5-7, 3-1) won 56-31 with D.J. Vassel’s 20 points leading the way.
The junior high Fillies (4-8, 1-3) lost 33-18. Faith Carter Bailey’s eight points led the way.
The Lee varsity teams also lost to Kirk Academy at home last Thursday.
The Colts lost 66-29 with Gage Murphy and Wilson leading the way with seven points each.
The Fillies lost 60-45 with Emily Moser scoring 15 points.
The junior high Colts won 32-22 with Vassel and Bryan Ray scoring 11 points each.
The junior high Fillies lost 26-22 with Maggie Etheridge’s 10 points leading the way.
In the holiday tournament at Lee Academy in Marianna, Ark., the Colts opened with a 63-41 loss to West Memphis.
Brownlee had 12 points followed by Vassel with 10.
The Fillies opened with a 66-45 loss to Marvell Academy.
Etheridge scored 20 points followed by Moser with 13.
The Colts came back in the second game of the tournament with a 70-46 win against DeSoto Christian.
Campbell had 18 points followed by Vassel with 16, Murphy with 13 and Wilson with 10.
The Fillies lost to Lee, Ark., 47-26.
Etheridge led the way with nine points followed by Moser and Ashlynn Smith with seven each.
In an earlier game in December, the Colts defeated Tunica Academy, 60-44.
Campbell had 16 points, Hayes Clegg scored 15, Brownlee had 14, and Brett Wilson had 11.
The Fillies defeated Tunica Academy 48-35.
Byrd had 25 points followed by Moser with 12.
The junior high Colts won 35-19. Vassel and Watkins Fyfe scored nine points.
The junior high Fillies won 24-16. Etheridge led the way with 12 points.
