Tunica Academy swept the 1AA basketball district tournament at Lee Academy in Marianna, Ark.
The district tournament championships earned the boys and girls No. 1 spots going into the Class 2A North State Tournament at Columbus Christian Academy in Steens.
Rashad Ladd was the boys district tournament MVP and Taylor Sexton was the girls district tournament MVP.
Both play for Tunica Academy.
Braxton Acey, Omarion Griffin and Almonzo Payne Jr. were the Tunica Academy boys on the all-tournament team.
Sophie Dalton, Sarah Goff and Addison McIver were the Tunica Academy girls on the all-tournament team.
