Alexandra Frances Ashcraft and Joshua Beau Dominguez were united in marriage Friday, October 30, 2020, at six o’clock in the evening at The Southern Hotel, Covington, Louisiana.
The ceremony was officiated by Mr. Jeremy Harper.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm S. Ashcraft, III of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. Edward L. St. Clair, Jr. of Zachary, Louisiana and the late Ms. Bobbie Hill Barron and Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm S. Ashcraft, Jr. of Lyon, Mississippi.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Petey Dominguez of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Quave of Ponchatoula and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles “Pete” Leslie Dominguez, Sr.
The bride was escorted by her father. She was attended by her matron of honor and sister, Samantha A. Habetz. Michael Bernier served as best man.
Kate Bernier served as the flower girl, while the bride and groom’s son, Beau Dominguez and Cade Bernier served as ring bearers. Daniel Stevens and Wesley Fletcher, cousin of the groom, served as ushers. The groom’s sister, Alexis Dominguez, welcomed guests.
Music for the ceremony was provided by friends of the bride and her family, Annette Hurley-Larmeu and Lana Larmeu, with a solo of “How Great Thou Art” sung by Lana Larmeu.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Southern Hotel, with music provided by The Vermil-lionaires band from Lafayette, Louisiana.
The bride is a graduate of Ponchatoula High School and Delgado Community College.
She is currently employed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Happy Hands Therapy Services, specializing in Pediatric occupational therapy in Hammond, Louisiana.
The groom is a graduate of Ponchatoula High School and Louisiana State University.
He is currently a Physical Education teacher, as well as a football and track coach at Ponchatoula High School.
