The Clarksdale High School Wildcats and Lee Academy Colts are teaming up to provide a fundraiser for a local family.
Billed as “Colts and Wildcats Crushing Cancer” the two teams will play a baseball game and host a barbecue plate fundraiser for the Maddox Family.
Johnny Maddox Jr., is the Head Football Coach for the Wildcats.
The game and meal will be served on Monday, March 13 from 4 to 8 p.m. Pickup orders can drive through the Lee Academy parking lot during the game for take-outs.
Tickets for the meal are $10 and can be purchased by calling Lee Academy at 662-627-7891 or Clarks-dale High School at 662-627-8530, during regular school hours.
The food will be prepared and presented by Zee’s Barbecue.
All proceeds will go to helping the Maddox family with medical bills.
