The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Department has reported an officer-involved shooting that occurred Monday morning in east Clarksdale.
A press release from the Sheriff’s Department said authorities were executing a search warrant about 6:30 a.m. on a home in the 400 Block of Florida Street when the incident occurred.
MS Crime Stoppers and the U.S. Marshals Service are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of escaped Parchman inmate Dillion Dewayne Williams.
Williams and fellow inmate David Lee May escaped from Parchman on Saturday following a riot at the prison.
