Harlon D. Malone

Harlon D. Malone, 75, a retired purchasing agent for SA, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital East campus in Memphis, Tenn.

Mr. Malone is survived by his two daughters, Nancy Logan Orman of Oxford, and Cindy Weeks Holt (David) of Clarksdale; a brother, Rhett “Teddie” Malone of Rena Lara; six grandchildren, Alan Logan of Oxford, Laura Murphy of Starkville, Caitlyn Upchurch of Cleveland, Patrick Holt of Sumner, Grace Gregory Orman of Oxford, and Tristan Orman of Oxford; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Stanley Malone; parents, Lawrence Edward Malone and Rastal Louise Jones Malone; and two brothers, William “Pud” Malone and Larry Malone.

Visitation is Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel with burial in the Memorial Garden Cemetery on Highway 6 near Clarksdale.
