Marion Larry Antici

Marion Larry Antici, 69, a retired salesman for Dalton's Furniture, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019, at his home in Duncan.

Mr. Antici was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was in the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. He received the National Defense Award, Sharp Shooter Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Stars and an Air Medal by direction of the president.

He is survived by his son, Phillip Antici (Valerie) of Duncan; two brothers, Eugene Antici (Marie) of Cleveland and Bobby Antici (Anita) of Williamston, S.C.; three sisters, Dorothy Middleton (Joe) of Clarksdale, Rosemary Miller (Tommy) of Indianola and Florence Jepsen (Scott) of Bentonville, Ark.; and two grandchildren, Sophie Grace Antici and Hunter Vincent Antici.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Mary Antici.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2019, from noon to 1 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarksdale. There will be a funeral mass beginning at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church with burial in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Clarksdale.

Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale is handling the arrangements.
