Pauline Bridgman Smith Rowe, 94, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 30, 2019.
She was a longtime resident of Dundee and was currently a resident at the Clarksdale Nursing Home.
She loved the Lord and praised him every day. She especially loved her family and spoke with pride about all of them.
She is survived by one daughter, Becky (Jim) Moorman; two sisters, Eloise Smoak of Houston and Lula Mae Freeman of Ormond Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband of 20 years, Norman C. Smith; her second husband of 46 years, Clinton “Pete” Rowe; her parents, Ben and Mary Alice Bridgman; five brothers, Robbie Bridgman, Verlie Bridgman, Alver Bridgman, Elvin Bridgman and J.T. Bridgman; two sisters, Margie Ilean Bridgman Butler and Eunice Bridgman Gray; and one daughter, Norma Sue Smith Doerr.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 4, 2019, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Clarksdale Baptist Church followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Jernigan Cemetery in Pontotoc at 1 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2019.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kenneth Hawes Benefit at 121 Lakeview Drive, Saltillo, MS 38866; or Clarksdale Baptist Church.
