Randall Scott 'Bucky' Roark

Randall Scott “Bucky” Roark, 43, a front desk supervisor at Sam’s Town Casino and Hotel, died Sunday March 3, 2019, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

A Horn Lake resident and formerly of Clarksdale, Randy graduated from Clarksdale High School. He attended Northwest Mississippi College for two years and then studied hotel and restaurant management at the University of Southern Mississippi for two more years.

Randy enjoyed bowling and fishing.

Survivors include: his parents, Roger and Barbara Rollin Roark, Sr. of Horn Lake; a brother, Roger (Lisa) Roark, Jr. of Horn Lake; two nieces, Kayla Rae and Madison Leigh Roark; a nephew, “Trey” Roger Roark, III all of Horn Lake; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 10, 2019, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Clarksdale Baptist Church. A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at the church with burial in the Hinds Chapel Cemetery in Lake Cormorant.

Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale is handling the arrangements.
