Sean Maury Clark

Sean Maury Clark, 64, a retired master concrete cutter and formerly of Clarksdale, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019, at his home in Nesbit.

Sean Clark was a loving man. He enjoyed anything outdoors.

Sean told many stories through the years, but they were all centered around his family and friends. His love of music was strong and that reflected in the home being filled with lots of love, laughter, friends and food.

Sean was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.

Survivors include his daughters, April Clark Myres (Brian) and Anna Clark Burton (Will); grandchildren, Reese and Raygan-Elisabeth Myres and John Aedon Clark and another on the way in the upcoming weeks, Lynlee Burton; niece, Shaun Leigh Clark Freeman (Keith); mother-in-law, Carolyn Reese; many nephews and nieces; and lots of great friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Monica Parks Clark; son, John Maury Clark; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Peace Clark, Jr. (Precious); brother, Guy Clark; and sister, Beverly Clark.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2019, from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarksdale. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in the Grange Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church at 150 Florence Ave., Clarksdale, MS 38614.
