Wendy Chamblee

Wendy Chamblee, 66, owner-operator of Southern Expressions Stain Glass and a Clarksdale resident, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, at Germantown (Tenn.) Methodist Hospital. 

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Billy Chamblee, of Clarksdale; a son, Billy Chamblee, Jr., of Clarksdale; two grandchildren, Cadon Landon Chamblee and Natalye Alise Garrison; two brothers, Marty Pelts of Haywood, Calif., and Michael Hughes of Merced, Calif.; a sister, Debbie Baron-Dahlor of Monterey, Calif.; and three nieces, Lynn Kemper, Dee Dee McCausland and Chrissy McCausland, all of Portland, Ore.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Judy Hollirake Pelts; and a sister, Penny McCausland.

Visitation will be held Monday, Dec. 31, 2018, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale. Funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Freeny Cemetery near Carthage at 2 p.m. Monday.
