Sandra Elizabeth Harper was born to the union of Alvin Lee Williams Campbell and Beulah (Stanton) Watts Campbell in Clarksdale on Sept. 24, 1944. Her parents preceded her in death.

Robert Blake Ashmore was convicted this morning of first-degree murder of Mason Howard, 19, with a 12-gauge shotgun on April 9, 2016 and sentenced to life in prison under the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
