That’s the message Clarksdale city leaders are saying as they agreed Monday to seek bids for a system that will place cameras in the city’s high-crime areas.
The following crime reports were released by the Clarksdale Police Department Assistant Chief Vincent Ramirez, for Nov. 5 through Nov. 12, 2019.
Anyone with information about these crimes or any other crimes is urged to call the Clarks-dale Police Department at 621-8156. All calls remain anonymous.
Martha Mae Wilder Jenkins, 78, of Clarksdale died Oct. 25, 2019 at Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. Funeral services are 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2 at Union Grove Baptist Church. The Rev. Sammie Collins will officiate. Burial is at Carr’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2 at Century Funeral Home.
