Graveside services are noon Saturday, May 2, 2020 at McLaurin Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Keith Powell presiding. Burial is at McLaurin Memorial Gardens. Visitation is at the family home from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2020.

The Mississippi Department of Corrections is looking for Quitman County Community Work Center Inmate Walter Lee Lewis.                                                                                                                

Lewis, 31, was last seen around 1:05 p.m. Thursday at a jobsite in Clarksdale.

Mary Louise Hicks, 60, born July 20, 1959, died at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven Jan. 26, 2020. She was proceeded in death by her parents James Roby and Mary Lee Hicks

James Crutcher

The Rev. James Michael Crutcher was born July 21, 1954 in Clarksdale to the late Clarence Thomas Crutcher, Sr. and the late Edna Earl Moore (Crutcher) Burns. Bro. Crutcher passed away at his home in Hamilton as a result of pulmonary fibrosis. He died April 18, 2020 at age 65.
