Coahoma Early College High School announced Sunday afternoon it would extend its spring break at least an extra week in response to the coronavirus outbreak.

Larry Earl Bradley, 66, of Athens, Ala., died Friday, Feb. 28, 2020 in Huntsville, Ala.
Mr. Bradley was born Nov. 11, 1953 in Helena, Ark. He was a retired Engineer at Redstone Arsenal and a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association.
Nathaniel Armstrong, one of the most well-known taxi drivers in this area, lived across from me and my family on McKinley Street for more than 45 years.
His death about two weeks ago started me thinking about the value of good neighbors and neighborhoods in general. I thought about how good a neighbor he really was.
