The Clarkdale Police Department has arrested a man in connection with a shooting that occurred in mid March.
Officers arrested Dantarius Williams, 25, on a warrant for aggravated assault that had been issued on March 18, following an incident where a man was shot in the foot following an incident on State Street.
Dorothy M. Hornburger, 82, Jonestown died on April 27, 2020 at Merit Health Hospital Clarksdale.
Public viewing is 2 to 4 p.m. May 8, 2020 at Mary Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Jonestown.

Lindall Gay Willard, 82, a retired salesman from General Pipe and Supply, passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, at his home in Clarksdale.
Mr. Willard was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.

Eddie Charles “Smitty” Smith was born on Nov. 27, 1935, to the late Emres and Rosie Lee Cole-Smith in Friars Point. He passed away Monday, May 14, 2018.
