When I think of the 2019 football season in Coahoma County for both high school and junior college, the word transition first comes to mind.

The Coahoma Early College High School boys basketball team has opened the 2018-19 season with a 4-0 start.
The Tigers defeated Clarksdale High School 86-71, won at Leflore County 79-41, at Simmons 57-43 and at home against West Tallahatchie 84-61.
Clarksdale hosted a modest economic development event Friday and we host another one this week.
