Larry Earl Bradley, 66, of Athens, Ala., died Friday, Feb. 28, 2020 in Huntsville, Ala.

Mr. Bradley was born Nov. 11, 1953 in Helena, Ark. He was a retired Engineer at Redstone Arsenal and a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association.

Potts Camp, a former division opponent, is the one team standing in the way of the Red Panthers (23-10, 9-1). The Cardinals and Red Panthers will face off in the state championship at 3 p.m. Friday at Ole Miss.

Coahoma County’s Jaylin Jones enrolls at Mississippi School for Math, Science

Jaylin Lyndell Jones from Coahoma County Jr./Sr. High School is one of those from across the state carefully selected to attend. He is the son of Nellie Jones.

Two former county supervisors Burrel, Furr remembered

Two longstanding members of the Coahoma County Board of Supervisors, who made contributions to the community for many decades, died Friday, March 8.

Katherine Furr, 89, who represented District 5 on the board for 15 years, died late Friday.

Timothy Burrel, 76, who represented District 3 for 19 years, died earlier in the day.
