HENDERSON, N.C. – Betty Ann Dean, 77, a homemaker, died Sunday, Nov.21, 2021.
Visitation is 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27 at Oakhurst Baptist Church in Clarksdale. Services begin at 2 p.m. at Oakhurst and burial will follow at Memorial Garden Cemetery in Lyon.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all that knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband Fred D. Dean of Hendersonville, N.C.; daughters Richele (Arthur) Dunavent of Hendersonsville; Michele (Danny) Snyder of Lake Cormorant, Miss., Vicky (Bruce) Bayles of Oxford, Miss. and Myra (John) Brindley, of Memphis; brothers, James (Mary Joyce) Burchfield of Bolivar, Tenn. and Jerry Burchfield of Dublin; sister Millie Joyce Burchfield of Clarksdale; grandchildren, Nicole Dunavent Grant, Alan Bayles, Nicholas Jackson, Katelyn Dunavent, Emily Bayles Powell, Noah Dunavent, Rachel Bayles McGonagall, Claire Brindley Hatfield and Collin Brindley; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewitt T. and Clara Robertson Burchfield and her brothers Mac Burchfield and Wesley Burchfield.
