Thomas M. 'Tom' Kimbro

Thomas M. “Tom” Kimbro, 78, passed away early Tuesday morning April 23, 2019 at Northwest Mississippi Medical Center in Clarksdale.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 26, 2019, from 10 a.m. until service beginning at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Kimbro Funeral Home in Marks. Interment to follow in Marks Cemetery.




Louis Williams

Louis Williams, 75, died Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

He was born April 12, 1943, in Yazoo City.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Century Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksdale.

Arrangements are by Century Funeral Home.


Rickie Randall Henderson

Rickie Randall Henderson, 51, of Friars Point, passed away Monday, April 15, 2019.

Rickie was born June 24, 1967.

Rickie was known around the Friars Point community as a handyman and a barber. Rickie was a lifetime resident of Friars Point and a member of Mount Avery Missionary Baptist Church in Friars Point.



Danny 'Kirk' O’Briant

Danny “Kirk” O’Briant, 42, of Lexa, Ark., passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019, in Lexa.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Lexa Baptist Church with Brother Tommy Jacobs officiating. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.


Curtis Butler, Jr.

Curtis Butler, Jr., 56, of Nashville, Tenn., died Saturday, April 13, 2019, in Smyrna, Tenn.

A public viewing will be held Friday, April, 19, 2019, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Delta Burial Funeral Home at 615 S. State St. in Clarksdale.




Kathleen Avant Dew

Kathleen Avant Dew, 59, a homemaker and resident of Lyon, died Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at the Northwest Mississippi Medical Center in Clarksdale.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Mike Dew of Lyon; her mother, Birdie Hughes Avant of Clarksdale; a brother, Randy Avant of Lyon; and a sister, July Ann Avant of Clarksdale.

Sean Maury Clark, 64, a retired master concrete cutter and formerly of Clarksdale, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019, at his home in Nesbit.

Sean Clark was a loving man. He enjoyed anything outdoors.
