With a bye week before their next game, the Coahoma County Red Panthers (0-1) will use this time to prepare for Madison Palmer on March 21 at 5 p.m.
They are a young team with two starting seniors that looks to rebuild the program in the coming years.
Coach Chris Wilks considered Riverside to be their anticipated toughest opponent.
The Red Panthers have practiced every day in spite of the weather and are eager to get their first win of the season.
