The Tunica County Sheriff’s Department, Tunica Police Department, state and federal agencies continue to search for a man allegedly involved in a February shooting, and a $1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to his arrest.
Prinnis Carter Jr., 21, of Tunica, is wanted for shooting into an occupied vehicle at X-Treme Carwash on Highway 61 Monday night Feb. 26 and also for allegedly wounding a person near the scene.
Carter remains at large and authorities say he is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Carter was one of four people allegedly involved in the shooting in February. Those who have already been arrested include: Prinderius Carter, 19, of Tunica; Eric Oliver Jr., 18, of Tunica; and Ceedrick Wheeler, 19, of Robinsonville.
The four have been charged with, Conspiracy, Drive by Shooting, Shooting into a Dwelling, Attempted Murder; and Receiving Stolen Property.
The incident saw police respond to a call of shots fired and finding a 2001 Buick with multiple bullet holes. The occupant of the vehicle was located unharmed. That individual was able to tell authorities that subjects in a white Kia had shot at his vehicle. Additionally, a residence located near the scene, on Hospital Street, was struck by the gunfire.
