The Clarksdale Municipal School Distict (CMSD) Trustees will hold their regular monthly board meeting at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021 at the Central Office at 135 Washington Street.

As always, the event is open to the public.

The Clarksdale Film & Music Festival in historic Clarksdale, Mississippi, is scheduled for Friday-Sunday, January 29-31 — indoors, outdoors and online.

This year's indoor venue will be The Bank at E 2nd & Yazoo Ave. A "pop-up" drive-in theater will show at 3rd & Issaquena Ave. The weekend includes History Walking Tours, Virtual Panel Discussions moderated by Clay Motley and plenty of live blues music.

All health and safety protocols will be followed.
