Ray and Maxine Keith celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary on the way to forever together last week.
The Keith’s were married in Duncan on Jan. 15, 1950 and have always lived in Coahoma County together, except for a brief time when Ray was called up for military service.
Ray Keith was a mechanic and then worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 31 years.
Maxine Keith raised their four children, David Keith, Charlie Keith, Donna Keith Davenport and Susan Keith Rodgers.
They have six grandchildren and eight grand children and they said the secret to marriage is to hold each other close and tight!
