Anthony Joseph Sherman, 64, a sales rep, died Sept. 29, 2023 at The Med in Memphis, Tenn.
Visitation is Monday, Oct. 2, 2023, Noon to 1 p.m. at St Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarksdale.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Monday at St Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarksdale, with private family only burial at Oakridge Cemetery.
Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale is handling the arrangements.
Anthony had a heart of gold. He would do anything for anyone. He was a Pi Kappa Alpha and Mississippi State University. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the former Clarksdale Theater. He was a member of St Elizabeth Catholic Church.
Survivors include: his mother Agnes Noe Sherman of Clarksdale;. Step-Son Nick Starling of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Joe Sherman (Mary Ann) of Birmingham, Ala., and Thomas Sherman (Marietta) of Biloxi; Sister Phyllis Sherman Timbs (Tim) of Indianola.
He was preceded in death by his Wife Victoria (Vicky) Alcantara Sherman and his father Joseph Sherman.
