Clarksdale Collegiate suffers attendance drop

Like all schools across the state and nation, attendance has dropped at Clarksdale Collegiate Public Charter School as a result of virtual learning in the midst of the COVID pandemic, but executive director Amanda Johnson is attempting to do something about that.
Johnson discussed those issues during Monday night’s monthly board meeting.

Coahoma County School Board to double check student addresses, funding allocation

Old Clarksdale High School could be sold, renovated

Time is of the essence for the Clarksdale Municipal School District when it comes to putting the old high school building on School Street to use.
The CMSD moved to Clarksdale High School’s current location on Wildcat Drive in 1999. The old high school has not been used since, but the CMSD is looking to sell the building.

Charter schools board members must follow state ethics laws
