To avoid the forecasted winter storm, the Clarksdale Film & Music Festival has moved to next weekend.
The festival will begin Friday, Jan. 30, and run through Sunday, Feb. 1.
The public is encouraged to join fans, filmmakers, musicians and special guests in Clarksdale, for the 16th annual elebration of music and Mississippi movies plus “live” blues performances and more.
Deep Roots is playing at 2 p.m. in the Stone Pony Tack Room on Jan. 30. Natchez follows at 4:30 p.m., Little Willie Farmer plays reception is at 6 p.m., and Ronzo is at 7 p.m.
Tim Hardiman Shorts plays at 11 a.m. Jan. 31 in the Stone Pony Tack Room, Nolan Dean Shorts follows at 11:15 p.m. The Main Live is at 12:05 p.m., Blues Like Showers of Rain is at 12:30 p.m., King of Them All is at 1:10 p.m., Films & Stories With Director Robert Gordon is at 2:30 p.m., Swamp Dogg Gets His Pool Painted is at 4:20 p.m., Big T plays at 6 p.m. and Big Mama Thornton is at 7 p.m.
Lucious Spiller is playing at 1 p.m. Feb. 1 at Bluesberry Cafe, Sean “Bad” Apple follows at 2 p.m. and Watermelon Slim is at 3 p.m.
Tickets are $5 at the door and a weekend pass is $10.
