The Tunica County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a shooter who killed a Clarksdale man on Labor Day.
On Monday, at about 7:50 p.m., the Tunica County Sheriff’s office got a 911 call saying someone has been shot in Robinsonville.
Officers dispatched to the scene found a man at 2669 Kirby Road had been shot.
The victim was identified as Marqueze McCray, 38, of Clarksdale.
Pafford Ambulance also arrived on the scene, but McCray died of his injury and was pronounced deceased by Tunica County Coroner Glen Grant.
A spokesman with the Tunica County Sheriff’s Department said there has been no arrest for this alleged crime as of Tuesday afternoon and did not release details of the incident or what might have motivated this shooting.
This investigation is active and ongoing.
