The Clarksdale Police Department has reported the following incidents in the community and is asking residents to report any crime or suspicious activity in an effort to reduce crime in Clarksdale.
The information below is taken from police reports submitted by the Clarksdale Police Department and is not a complete report of all crime in the community. Police Chief Robbie Linley reported to the Mayor and Board of Commissioners on Monday the police department has received 470 since their last meeting, with 176 Incident Reports generated by those calls. He said there had been 35 arrests, with four of them being felony arrests. Police also issued 36 citations and worked 19 motor vehicle accidents.
The Coahoma County Sheriff's Department has released the names and crimes of 12 people recently arrested by their deputies.
The Crime Report is published by the Clarksdale Press Register as a public service to the community and informs residents of events in their neighborhood so they can protect themselves against crime. It is also a record of how active the Clarksdale Police Department and Coahoma County Sheriff's Department are and crimes they feel are important.

- McKinley Pitt: possession of stolen property.
- Martel Jones: possession of a controlled substance, driving while license suspended, other violation.
- Keion Cosby: driving while license suspended, disregarding a traffic control device.
- Walter Stewart: driving while license suspended, DUI, possession of a controlled substance.
- Monterryus Burks: carrying a concealed weapon.
- Tamarius Nolan: carrying a concealed weapon.
- Kentavious Smith: assault by threat.
- Patrice Pollard: disorderly conduct, resisting arrest.
- Daville Moore: simple assault domestic violence, trespassing, grand larceny, burglary.
- Terriana Ewings: aggravated assault, simple assault, petit larceny, assault by threat.
