Public Viewing was Wednesday at Hornburger Byas Funeral Home from 2 to 5pm. Funeral services were 11 a.m., Thursday Feb. 23 at Hornburger Byas, with Pastor James Hill presiding. Burial follows at McLaurin Gardens.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Thursday at Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, with burial in the Marks Cemetery in Marks.

Police bust alleged theft ring, seek help in reclaiming stolen items

Clarksdale Police have uncovered a major theft operation and announced the recovery of a large number of items and is seeking the public’s help in getting these items back to their owners.
Police executed a search warrant in the Oakhurst area recentlyand said they seized thousands of dollars in stolen items.
