From day one the left has been strongly opposed to Donald Trump. He was a successful businessman with no ties to the establishment crowd in Washington. That city is 95% democrat, and a large proportion of the population is dependent upon the government for employment. They were threatened by this efficient businessman who promised to drain the swamp by exposing corruption, and by eliminating surplus employees who were enjoying the gravy train.
To counter this threat the left has enacted a two-tiered justice system. When Trump was running for President in 2016 his opponent, Hillary Clinton, was found to have a private server in her house and elsewhere against federal security rules. The Washington-based FBI director James Comey concluded that Clinton had been “extremely careless”, but there was no basis for criminal charges. Hillary Clinton had her staff bleach and smash their cell phones. Why would they do that if those phones did not contain potentially incriminating evidence? The FBI did not investigate.
At about the same time the Democrats promoted the Russian Collusion hoax. Fusion GPS secured the Steele dossier, and this erroneous document was paid for by the Hilliary Clinton campaign. Someone reported that they purchased it, then “filled it with rubbish.” The mainstream media reported it as fact. Acting FBI director Andrew McCabe continued to promote its accusations without investigating its veracity (as he confessed to a congressional committee.) But special counsel Robert Mueller conducted an extensive inquiry (May 2017-March 2019) that exonerated Trump by concluding: “the investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”
In April 2019 Hunter Biden dropped off his water-damaged laptop at the Delaware repair shop owned by John Paul Mac Isaac. In processing it Isaac saw several items that made him suspicious. He contacted the FBI who seized it in December 2019. The contents of the laptop contained information on Hunter Biden's work with the Ukrainian energy company Burisma (where he became a director) and also his father, then Vice President Joe Biden. The FBI withheld information on the laptop from the public until after the 2020 presidential election, saying it was “Russian disinformation.” Still today some on the left are questioning the account. But when in Ukraine Vice President Biden had threatened to withhold funds from that country unless they fired the prosecutor who was investigating Burisma. Biden boasted that they fired him in a matter of hours. So that speaks to the veracity of the laptop's contents which was hidden by the FBI from the electorate until after the election that nominated Joe Biden as president.
Later, after Joe Biden took office, the Supreme Court was about to rule on the Roe vs. Wade decision. That consideration was somehow leaked to the Biden justice department. (The leak was never investigated.) Then protestors picketed the homes of conservative Supreme Court justices in violation of Title 18, Section 1507 of the US code. This code states that “it is illegal to picket or parade in front of a courthouse or a judge's home with the intent of interfering with, obstructing, or impeding the administering of justice, or with the intent of influencing any judge.” Violators could face fines, prison, or both. However, Biden's Justice Department did not investigate or prosecute anyone.
Another example of the two-tiered application of justice was the investigation of classified information at the residences of both Trump and Biden. When President Trump left office in January 2021 his aides boxed up his papers that happened to include some documents labelled “confidential.” Several were handed over to investigators as requested, but before further documents were assembled for surrender the FBI raided his Mar-a-Lago house in the early hours of an August 2022 morning. The FBI vehicles had lights blazing, thus creating a spectacle. They found a box and then scattered the documents on the floor for a photo as if to imply that Trump was careless. During the 10 hour search they even rummaged through Melania Trump's bedroom. Then charges were filed.
By contrast, in December 2022 Biden's attorneys found some classified documents in his Delaware home and elsewhere dating back to the time when he was vice president (not president as was the case with Trump.) Some documents were found in his garage which was far less secure than Mar-a Lago. Robert Hur was then appointed as special counsel. In February 2024 Hur concluded: “it would be difficult to prosecute Biden, who could appear to a jury as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” Several Biden supporters objected to that description. But let's face it, the alternative was to prosecute Biden. As a result of the skewed justice system, the “elderly man” got off scot-free.
In early summer last year, a weekend visitor to the White House left a small, zippered bag of white powder at the ground floor security desk of the West Wing before entering. The secret service analyzed the powder and found it to be cocaine. The White House press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, said she was sure the secret service would “get to the bottom” of this. They would be going through the visitor logs and could test the outside of the bag for DNA and fingerprints. It sounded pretty simple, but that was the last we ever heard about it. We know that Hunter Biden had a drug problem. Maybe I'm wrong, but could it be that the cocaine was his, and the Biden Justice system was enacting a coverup?
Finally, as I write Trump is facing a barrage of four lawsuits that are intended in part to keep him off the campaign trail. In New York he is being tried for mishandling hush money payments to Stormy Daniels way back in 2015. The Justice department chief witness was the convicted liar, Michael Cohen. Besides frequently lying to many people he admitted that he stole money from Trump's team. The appointed judge--Judge Juan Merchan--has contributed to the Biden presidential campaign, and his daughter Loren has worked for the Biden/Harris reelection team. This casts a doubt on his impartiality.
Merchan allowed the prosecution to bring up salacious material on Trump, enacted a gag order on Trump but not on his accusers, denied the defense request for an expert witness, and then permitted the prosecution to frequently interrupt the key defense witness, Robert Costello. This witness' statement completely disproved Cohen's testimony. Professor Alan Dershowitz, who attended the trial, called the judge's rulings “outrageous.” He reported that Judge Merchan threatened to strike the entire testimony of Robert Costello for raising his eyebrows after a ruling. Dershowitz had been in courtrooms all over the world, but he said he had never seen a spectacle like this anywhere. The jury from the heavily democratic city of New York has yet to make a finding as I write this article.
All of these examples illustrate the use of the two-tiered justice system employed by the left. It is time to expose them.
